Welcome to my Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden digital learning resource. I have created this resource to support Stage 2 students in the Geography strand of the NSW HSIE Curriculum. Established to protect and showcase local biodiversity, the garden provides an ideal setting for authentic, place-based learning.  It is designed to complement their excursion experience by encouraging observation, inquiry, and reflection, helping students develop a deeper understanding of how people connect with, care for, and sustain natural environments. Purpose of the site

Welcome to the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden learning site! This website is here to help you explore the garden and learn about the amazing plants, animals, and habitats that live there. I created this site so you can discover how people care for nature and why protecting bushland is important. The activities, maps, and research booklets are designed to make learning fun and hands-on, helping you see how humans and the environment work together. By exploring the website, you can investigate, record your findings, and share your discoveries. (87 words)
